Word Wrestling Entertainment announced the release of Andrade on Sunday, after the end of Fastlane. The short announcement gave no details in the decision, merely wishing Andrade the best in his future endeavors.

Earlier in the day, Andrade sent a cryptic tweet promising “good news.” A week prior, Andrade confirmed rumors that he was seeking his release from WWE. Originally meant to be released in April of 2020, Andrade remained with the company, yet rejected several ideas for his return. Since April, the WWE also fired Zelina Vega, Andrade’s manager for several years. Reportedly, the reason for Vega’s firing was because of her OnlyFans account.

As of the date of this writing, Andrade has not let fans know what his plans are moving forward, other than he wants to make his dreams come true.
