Titans Trailer Looks Much Better Than Leaked Set Photos

The first trailer for Titans has been released and while criticisms and trolling continue, most fans have noted a huge improvement in the characters after initial… let’s say concerns, after leaked set photos.

Producers and fans swore repeatedly that these outfits would not be the final designs for these characters, but not soon enough to cut off backlash from fans who felt Raven and Beast Boy escaped realm an episode of iCarly, and that someone scalped a Raggedy Ann doll for Starfire’s wig.

Titans has suffered a particularly combative relationship with Teen Titans fans, even before the leaked photo sets. Fans, perhaps still sour over Teen Titans Go and combative over the war between Marvel and DC, attacked the show at every angle. Anna Diop, who plays Starfire, has also had to deal with racial abuse from trolls.

While the new trailer has not silenced the more vocal of the Titans detractors, nor the trolls, many fans have expressed relief upon seeing what appears to be the final designs for Beast Boy and Raven. Horror-style special effects have been added, making Teagan Croft look much more like the daughter of Satan, and Ryan Potter, now with green skin, seems much more bestial and savage.

Anna Diop, as Starfire, also looks much better than she did in the leaked photos because of the added special effects. Though in the trailer, she is still wearing the outfit and Halloween wig from the leaked photos.
