WWE.com has announced Hulk Hogan, after three years, is now being re-added to the WWE Hall of Fame.
All mention of Hogan’s name was erased from the company following a secretly recorded audio in which he repeatedly used a racial slur referring to a man his daughter chose to be her manager. This audio, released by Gawker (which filed for bankruptcy after a successful lawsuit from Hogan), was part of a leaked sex tape between Hogan and Heather Clem, wife of Hogan’s then-friend Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem.
WWE.com said Hogan’s re-addition to the Hall of Fame is because of his many apologies and charity work. Before this announcement, many fans have speculated on Hogan’s possible return to the WWE. Although his rumored return at WrestleMania 34 did not happen, recent traveling on the part of Hogan has fueled more speculation about possible talks with the WWE.
