It’s been two years since Bloodied Fear, an indy game by Mr. Vegies, was banned on Steam. In previous articles, it was reported that the creator increased the price of the game to 2 million dollars. Valve was not amused and banned the game. The creator reached out after the publication of the article, letting us know he found nothing in Steam’s policy about price increases and that he hoped to get the game unbanned. To this day, however, Bloodied Fear cannot be purchased on Steam.
There are alternative platforms, however. Shortly after the Steam ban the creator published the game on Itch.Io. The game is currently for sale at a significant discount of $2.
Recently though, the creator announced a sequel, Bloodied Fear Two. A month ago creators released a trailer on YouTube featuring the same over the top violence of the original. The game includes side-scrolling beat ’em up levels and one on one boss fights oh photographic backgrounds, but the game also introduces a Street Fighteresque car destruction mini game, flight scenes where your character grows wings and psychedelic landscapes.
