Cartoon Network announced Steven Universe: The Movie at San Diego Comic Con. Cartoon Network released the teaser, which was shown on their Twitter and YouTube accounts.
This movie will appear on Cartoon Network rather than in theaters.
Those who attended the panel at San Diego Comicon were not allowed to take pictures, but reportedly viewed an episode of Steven Universe which involved White Diamond. Whether or not this plot plays into the movie is unknown. The teaser includes the sinister figure shown below, likely the villain, who does not resemble White Diamond.
