Macaulay Culkin has sworn to crush Rusev at WrestleMania 34. On March 14, Rusev posted an open call for any celebrity to face him at WrestleMania. On March 15, Culkin took to Twitter to accept Rusev’s challenge.
WWE has yet to officially sanction the match, so it may end up as little more than a Twitter scuffle. Rusev responded that he couldn’t bring himself to hit Culkin because of the characters he played.
Rusev, like many superstars (especially on the SmackDown roster) has struggled to get good booking and air time. But he remains a fan favorite because of his dominance in the ring and his A-level sense of humor. Rusev fans celebrate Rusev Day, which is every day, after Rusev started the tradition on Twitter and fans recognize him as one of the funniest wrestlers in WWE.
