DC Entertainment has cast Anna Diop to play Starfire in the upcoming Titans live-action series, which will air on Warner Bros’ new streaming service.
DC Entertainment broke the story in a press release on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Fans of 24 will recognize Diop as Nicole Carter on 24:Legacy. She’s also played on The Moment, Messengers and Message from the King.
DC recently announced Reagan Croft will play Raven in the same series.
Croft, age 13, has already starred in The Osiris Child and Far and Away.
DC’s Geoff Johns will collaborate with Akiba Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery) and Greg Berlanti (Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, DC: Legends of Tomorrow).
Titans, as well as the third season of Young Justice, are scheduled to air in 2018 with Warner Bros’ new subscription service.
